What is this Battlefield thing about? Yep, PVP for sure. As our favorite GM Icee explained earlier, there are two battlefields in the game. And as the one and only GM Duck [#duckforpresident] assured us on the official forums, there will be at least one Battlefield available at the launch of the Cabal 2 Open Beta.

Battlefield Rank

Battlefield Rank is decided by Victory Points. When finding a match, players are matched with other players of similar rank. ‘Forgotten Desert Temple’ and ‘Maelstrom Castle’ battlefield have a variety of ranks that can participate in battles. The list of ranks determined by Victory Points is as follows.

Battlefield Entry

You may conduct a Battlefield Search (. key) or click on the Find Battlefield button in the main menu. You can try to request a match for as long as you like. Your character must be level22 or higher in order to request a match. In order to begin a battle, allies and enemies must have 2 teams each. A battle won’t begin unless both teams are full of players.
After selecting the Battlefield you want from the Battlefield list and clicking on the Find Battlefield button, you will automatically be matched with other players from within all servers.
Battlefield Request can be used if you’ve already established a party. In this case, players will usually remain on the same team; however, they may occasionally be moved to another team depending on the situation.
Tip: The server does not matter when finding a Battlefield. Players from the Ektensia server will be able to meet with players from the Aldreshia server and enjoy Battlefields together.

When the search for a Battlefield is completed, the Battlefields you can join will be shown and their images will be displayed on the left. You can decide to join by clicking on the Join or Cancel buttons.
Tip: If you cancel your Battlefield participation, you will gain a War Coward debuff. Players with the War Coward debuff can’t use the Find Battlefield function for 30 minutes.

After a match is found, everyone has 60 seconds to decide whether or not they’ll participate. Once everyone has confirmed, you will enter the Battlefield.

Battlefield Level

The Battlefield Level is only applicable within a single Battlefield and is independent of character level.The level can be raised by gaining Battlefield EXP within the Battlefields. Each Battlefield has its own method of earning EXP. Abilities will increase on each Battlefield depending on your Battlefield Level.

War. Money

Similar to Battle Level, this is a currency that can only be used on a single Battlefield. Depending on the Battlefield, the amount held, method of earning, and items available for purchase via War.Money are different. When you leave the Battlefield, War. Money and all items purchased with it will disappear.

Honor. Point

Once the Battlefield has finished, you obtain Honor. Points based on the outcome of the battle and your rank. The Honor. Points gained are different for each Battlefield. Items can be purchased using a certain amount of Honor.Points by talking to ‘Mercenary Chief Officer Lion’ to the right of the Frey Hilltown Warp Point.

Honor Point Exclusive Mounts

With 10,000 Honor.Points and 1,000,000 Alz you can purchase the Bigstone Beetle mount that increases movement speed by 70%.
